Physical and aesthetic problems with a person's genital organs can negatively affect personal quality of life and sexual excitement. This operation aims to alleviate these issues through genital area aesthetics.

WHY IS GENITAL AREA AESTHETICS PERFORMED?

Many women experience issues with their genital areas due to congenital conditions, childbirth, or the effects of aging. These problems can negatively impact the sexual lives of both women and their partners. However, significant improvements can be made with very small surgical interventions in this sensitive area, which is often considered a taboo subject. Operations are performed to correct shape irregularities, such as asymmetry or sagging, in the vaginal lips.

METHODS OF GENITAL AREA AESTHETICS

• Fat Injections: After significant weight loss, due to gravity, and with age, the genital area loses fat tissue, causing the outer vaginal lips to become hollow and saggy. Fat tissue is taken from another part of the person's body, processed to purify it, and then injected into both the pubic area and the outer lips. This provides a fuller and more youthful appearance to the genital area.
• Labiaplasty: This procedure involves the reduction of the inner vaginal lips due to differences in shape, size, and appearance in the female external genital area. While normal labial sagging is about 1.5 cm, it is approximately 4 cm in patients seeking labiaplasty. The reduction procedure should achieve the desired aesthetic appearance while preserving sensory functions.
• Vaginoplasty: This is an intervention for the relaxation of the outer vaginal wall in women, which occurs due to increased elasticity following pregnancy and childbirth. The issue can be resolved by narrowing the vagina through a simple surgical procedure.

ANESTHESIA METHOD AND DURATION

This is a delicate procedure that must be performed in an operating room. It can be conducted under general anesthesia, local anesthesia, or sedation. Depending on the methods and procedures used, genital area aesthetic surgeries typically take between 1-2 hours.

RECOVERY TIME

Most genital area aesthetic procedures are not painful. Any discomfort can be managed with simple pain relievers. Patients are generally discharged on the same day.

POST-OPERATION CARE

• Patients are allowed to bathe two days after the procedure.
• After labiaplasty and vaginoplasty, the genital areas should be washed with special solutions.
• Care should be taken when sitting and standing during the first few days.
• Sexual intercourse should be avoided for 4-6 weeks.
